Kajol Advocates for Personal Choice in Cosmetic Procedures
26 Jul
Summary
- Kajol says cosmetic treatments are a personal choice, not gender-specific
- Many men also undergo these procedures, often unnoticed
- Kajol views aging positively as a privilege, not something to worry about

In a recent interview, acclaimed Bollywood actress Kajol shared her perspective on cosmetic procedures and aging. She emphasized that the decision to undergo cosmetic treatments, such as surgery or Botox, is a deeply personal choice that should not be judged, whether someone is in the public eye or not.
Challenging the common belief that these treatments are only for women, Kajol pointed out that many men also opt for such procedures, often without much public attention. "In fact, equal amounts, I would say. Men who you probably do not know about or don't even want to comment on this particular stage," she added.
Regarding aging, Kajol expressed a positive and empowering view. She considers aging a privilege, not something to worry about. "The privilege of ageing is that you can do it. There are a lot of people who don't. There are a lot of people who've died young and never had the chance to age at all," the actress said.
