Just a few days before the release of their much-anticipated film 'Param Sundari', actors Janhvi Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra were seen enjoying local delicacies at the popular Royale Chaat in Lucknow. The on-screen pair is currently in the city as part of their film's promotional activities.
Prior to their Lucknow visit, the duo had traveled to the Tirumala temple in Andhra Pradesh to seek blessings. While this marked Sidharth's first-ever visit to the sacred shrine, Janhvi shared that she makes it a point to visit on every special occasion. This time, her darshan held added significance as it coincided with her late mother Sridevi's birthday.
The trailer of 'Param Sundari', released on August 12, has already received a positive response from audiences. The film highlights a heartwarming North-South love story set against the picturesque backdrop of Kerala. The palpable chemistry between Janhvi and Sidharth has only heightened anticipation for the film's release.
Janhvi expressed her personal connection to the character of Sundari, saying, "Her grace, quiet strength, and love for her roots resonate with my own South Indian heritage. Shooting in Kerala, surrounded by such beauty, I felt an emotional connection to her world that I hope the audience will feel too." Sidharth, on the other hand, described 'Param Sundari' as a refreshing take on a classic romance, stating, "I feel like I'm revisiting the kind of romance I grew up loving, but telling it in a way that feels fresh and relatable."
Directed by Tushar Jalota and backed by Maddock Films, 'Param Sundari' is all set to hit theatres on August 29, 2025.
