In a move that will delight fans of the iconic podcast 'WTF with Marc Maron', the actor and comedian's journey is set to be chronicled in a graphic novel. Launched in 2009, the podcast has amassed well over 1,000 episodes, featuring a star-studded lineup of guests including former US President Barack Obama, the late Robin Williams, and legendary producer Lorne Michaels.
The graphic novel, titled 'WTF is a Podcast', will span the period from 2004 to 2025, capturing the full 16-year run of the podcast. Maron is collaborating with graphic novel publisher Z2 and the show's longtime producer Brendan McDonald, as well as acclaimed cartoonist Brian Box Brown, to bring the story to life.
"The success of WTF still seems unreal to me, so it makes sense for the definitive story to be told by a great cartoonist," said Maron. "This is a fantastic way for fans to relive the entire run of the podcast without needing to listen to thousands of hours of material again."
