Fatima Sana Shaikh, the acclaimed Bollywood actress, has shared her insights on the changing societal landscape surrounding marriage after the age of 30. In a recent interview, Fatima expressed that the traditional expectations for women to get married by a certain age are becoming less prominent.
"It happens, but it's less, I think. Earlier, it used to be more prominent. Now, relationships have changed, the meanings of relationships have changed. A lot more people are okay to be alone or they are concentrating on different things. So, society is accepting that," Fatima said.
The actress also shared a sweet memory from her past, recalling how her first love once decorated the path from the door to her room with flowers on her birthday. "There were flowers everywhere, and around the cake, there were candles lit all over," she reminisced. However, the surprise didn't go as planned, as most of the candles had melted away by the time she arrived. "We had to clean it all up later," Fatima added, describing it as a special kind of love that was "simple and sincere."
On the work front, Fatima Sana Shaikh is currently starring in the film Metro...In Dino, directed by Anurag Basu. She was also recently seen in the Netflix romantic drama Aap Jaisa Koi, alongside R. Madhavan.
