In a recent development, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has reportedly sustained an injury during the filming of his upcoming action movie 'King'. The actor, who has been shooting the film with his daughter and co-star Suhana Khan, reportedly suffered a muscular injury while performing an intense action sequence at a studio in Mumbai.
While the injury is not said to be serious, it has required urgent medical attention. As a result, Khan has traveled to the United States with his team to seek the necessary treatment. Doctors have advised the actor to rest for at least one month, forcing a temporary halt in the film's production schedule.
All filming for 'King' scheduled between July and August has now been suspended. The next leg of the shoot is expected to resume in September or October, once Shah Rukh Khan has fully recovered and is ready to return to the set.
The ensemble cast for 'King' includes a stellar lineup of actors, such as Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, Abhishek Bachchan, Jaideep Ahlawat, Anil Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, and Jackie Shroff. The film, directed by Siddharth Anand, has generated considerable buzz for bringing Suhana Khan to the big screen after her digital debut in 'The Archies'.
