Bollywood Star Sanjay Dutt Recounts Harrowing Razor Incident in Prison

In a recent appearance on The Great Indian Kapil Show, Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt reflected on a disturbing experience from his time in prison. Dutt, who served a 5-year sentence linked to a case about possession of arms, shared a vivid memory that has remained with him even years later.

Dutt described an incident where he was asked to shave off his beard, and a fellow inmate named Mishra was assigned to help him. What unsettled Dutt was learning that Mishra was a double murder convict. "He was holding a razor near my neck," Dutt recalled, adding that when he asked Mishra how long he had been in prison, the man replied, "Fifteen years," and said he was in for "double murder."

Despite such harrowing moments, Dutt stated that he holds no regrets about his life, except for losing his parents too soon. He spoke fondly of his father Sunil Dutt and mother Nargis, who passed away in 2005 and 1981, respectively.

During his time at Yerwada jail, Dutt hosted a well-received prison radio show for his fellow inmates. On the professional front, the actor was last seen in Baaghi 4 and has upcoming projects like The Raja Saab and Dhurandar in the pipeline.
