Edgerton, who hails from Blacktown, Australia, has built an impressive filmography over the past two decades. He gained international recognition for his roles in the Star Wars prequels before taking on intense, complex parts in acclaimed films like Kathryn Bigelow's 'Zero Dark Thirty' and Scott Cooper's 'Black Mass'. Edgerton has also successfully transitioned to directing, helming the thriller 'The Gift' in 2015 and the drama 'Boy Erased' three years later.
