The animated sequel "Zootopia 2" has taken the Korean box office by storm, opening to an impressive $10.8 million over the weekend of November 28-30. This strong debut, with 1.62 million admissions, secured a dominant 78.97% share of the entire market, according to tracking service KOBIS. Including previews, the film has already amassed $13.7 million.
Following in popularity, Universal's "Wicked: For Good" held the second position, accumulating $5.4 million after two weeks. Lionsgate's "Now You See Me: Now You Don't" secured third place with $8.07 million. Japanese titles "Chainsaw Man The Movie: Reze Arc" and "Kokuho" also featured in the top five, earning $23.9 million and $738,696 respectively.
Further down the charts, South Korean drama "The World of Love" reached over $1 million, while "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba - The Movie: Infinity Castle" continued its impressive run with $41.5 million. The newly released South Korean action comedy "The Informant" and local drama "Hallan" rounded out the top ten, alongside the restored classic "The Color of Pomegranates."
