Filming is officially underway for "Zombies 5: Secrets of the Sea," the latest installment in the popular Disney Channel franchise. The movie is scheduled to make its debut in 2027, with production currently taking place in Auckland, New Zealand. This new chapter will see Malachi Barton and Freya Skye stepping into leading roles as Victor and Nove Bright, respectively.
While original stars Meg Donnelly and Milo Manheim will not be appearing on screen, they are contributing to the film as executive producers. The previous film, "Dawn of the Vampires," concluded the high school era for Zed and Addison, introducing new supernatural groups. Based on its title, "Secrets of the Sea" suggests a narrative that may explore marine-based mythical creatures.
