27 Jan
Summary
- Zara Larsson feared she was removed from the remix upon hearing Kylie Minogue's involvement.
- The remix collaboration came after Larsson DM'ed PinkPantheress expressing admiration.
- Larsson recorded her part for the remix while on tour in middle America.

Pop singer Zara Larsson initially worried about her spot on the "Stateside" remix featuring PinkPantheress. Upon seeing Kylie Minogue also listed for a remix, Larsson feared her contribution might have been dropped from the project released in October 2025.
However, her concerns were alleviated upon learning that multiple artists, including Minogue, Bladee, and Groove Armada, were featured on different "Stateside" remixes. Larsson's initial outreach to PinkPantheress was through a direct message expressing admiration, which soon led to the collaboration.
Larsson recorded her vocal part for the remix "somewhere in middle America" while opening for Tate McRae's tour. The "Stateside" remix, released as part of PinkPantheress' Fancy Some More? project, has achieved success, reaching No. 83 on the Billboard Hot 100 and its music video garnered nearly 10 million views in less than ten days.
