Yvette Nicole Brown and Husband Star Together on Daytime TV

Yvette Nicole Brown and her husband, Anthony Davis, have joined the cast of the CBS daytime soap opera, Beyond the Gates. The couple, who first met in their twenties and reconnected after more than 25 years, married in December 2024. They will now play a married couple on screen, with Brown portraying Temeka, a cousin of Shanice Johnson, and Davis playing her husband, Tony.

Their debut occurs as Shanice prepares for her wedding to Dr. Ted Richardson, introducing new dynamics to the Johnson family. This casting continues the show's trend of featuring recognizable guest stars. Beyond the Gates, created by Michele Val Jean, premiered in February 2025 and focuses on the wealthy Dupree family in an affluent Maryland neighborhood.

The series is also available on Pluto TV, which launched a dedicated channel in August 2025 featuring over 90 episodes. Additional installments are released eight days after their CBS broadcast.
