YRF Scholarships Expand to AI & Robotics Dreams

The Yash Chopra Foundation (YCF) has broadened its scholarship reach, now supporting students in fields such as Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, IT, Management, Law, and Medical studies. Previously focused on media and creative arts, this expansion includes children of Hindi film industry and FWICE union members.
Eleven students were chosen based on merit and need from over 300 applicants. These scholars will receive financial aid up to Rs. 5 lakhs for their 2026-27 academic year, supporting diverse career aspirations within and beyond the film ecosystem.
This initiative, a continuation of filmmaker Yash Chopra's vision, aids the next generation of families contributing to Hindi cinema. It acknowledges the evolving industry and aims to help students access their desired education and careers, fostering a brighter future.
