Summary
- Hawkeye to debut in new episode of Iron Man and His Awesome Friends animated series
- Young version of the hero voiced by actor Nick A. Fisher
- Marvel aims to recruit young viewers as future lifelong fans and creators
On November 6, 2025, Marvel is set to introduce a young version of the hero Hawkeye in the children's animated series Iron Man and His Awesome Friends. The new episode, titled "The Tale of Hawkeye," will debut on Disney Jr. on Friday before premiering on Disney+ on November 12.
In the episode, actor Nick A. Fisher voices the youthful Hawkeye as he assists in catching a mysterious thief. Marvel is using animated series as a key entry point to recruit young viewers, who the company hopes will grow up to become lifelong fans and even future creators.
This strategy is not new for Marvel, as the popular 1990s animated X-Men and Spider-Man series helped pave the way for the live-action superhero movies of the early 2000s. Similarly, Marvel is banking on the success of shows like Spidey and His Amazing Friends and the current Iron Man and His Awesome Friends to captivate a new generation of fans.
According to Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige, Avengers: Endgame and Spidey and His Amazing Friends were the two most popular Marvel properties on Disney+ in 2025. "Kids know these characters from that -- and they grow into them," Feige said, highlighting Marvel's ability to appeal to audiences of all ages.
