Young Guru Offers Full Scholarship to Aspiring Musicians

A full-tuition, four-year scholarship is now available for aspiring students wishing to attend the Roc Nation School of Music, Sports & Entertainment at Long Island University. The scholarship is sponsored by Gimel "Young Guru" Keaton, who has directed the Music Technology, Entrepreneurship & Production program at the school since 2022. Applications are currently open and require submissions of either a written response or a video, not exceeding three minutes.

The deadline to apply for this significant opportunity is July 17. Applicants must address questions concerning their definition of success, how the scholarship will aid their personal development, and their ten-year career vision. Young Guru stated that this initiative stems from his dedication to education and mentorship, aiming to provide students with not only an education but also valuable real-world experience to shape the future of the music industry.
