The festival is themed "returning to nature," a concept developed from consultations with over 1,200 individuals and nine schools. This approach highlights a community desire for nature-inspired art.
Art of Protest stated that Acombfest is set to be the largest mural and street art event in the region's history. Approximately 20,000 people are expected to attend, with 90% of the festival's offerings being free for the public to enjoy.
