Acclaimed director Yorgos Lanthimos has released VISCIN, a new artist's book published by MACK Books. The book features photographs captured on the set of his 2025 feature film, Bugonia. The physical publication is designed as a sculptural object, utilizing an accordion fold that resembles a film reel. As readers unfold the pages, they experience a visual progression from stark black-and-white photography into vivid color imagery, symbolizing foreboding and rebirth.
This release coincides with a major exhibition in Athens, 'Yorgos Lanthimos: Photographs,' at Onassis Stegi.
