The trailer for Yash's highly anticipated film, 'Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups,' directed by Geetu Mohandas, indicates a massive box office opening. This film marks Yash's return to the big screen four years after the success of KGF: Chapter 2. The trailer's reception has been overwhelmingly positive, with Yash being praised, and the women in the film also drawing significant attention.
'Toxic' is strategically positioning itself for a record-breaking debut. Its multi-language release, dark anti-hero theme, and substantial screen count are expected to contribute to a box office performance that could place it among the Top 5 All-Time Highest Indian Openers. The film is slated for release on August 26, 2026, and trade analysts are predicting an opening day collection exceeding 100 crore.
The film's success hinges on its trailer's impact translating into advance bookings. If achieved, 'Toxic' could potentially surpass the 116 crore opening day collection of KGF: Chapter 2, a feat that would secure its place in cinema history. The buzz is palpable across various regions, including Karnataka, the Hindi belt, Telugu states, and Tamil Nadu, signaling strong nationwide appeal.
