Yash's 'Toxic' Postponed Again: Release Date Uncertain
29 Apr
Summary
- The Yash-starrer 'Toxic' has been postponed multiple times.
- A potential Independence Day release is being considered.
- The film might clash with 'Lahore 1947' and 'Awarapan 2'.
The release of Yash's much-awaited film, 'Toxic,' has been postponed indefinitely, causing widespread disappointment among fans and the industry. Initially scheduled for March 19, the film's release was first rescheduled to June 4 due to geopolitical tensions in the Middle East.
However, the makers announced a further delay on April 29, without providing a new release date. Reports suggest the film might now target the Independence Day week in August, either the 13th or 14th, for its global premiere.
This potential August release could set 'Toxic' up for a significant box office clash. It would compete with Rajkumar Santoshi's 'Lahore 1947,' starring Sunny Deol, and Emraan Hashmi's 'Awarapan 2,' both slated for release around the same weekend.
