The highly anticipated film 'Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups,' starring Kannada actor Yash, is set to unveil its prominent female characters. Yash himself announced that details about the leading ladies will be revealed starting July 1, 2026. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, 'Toxic' features Yash in a dual role, supported by a notable ensemble cast of actresses.
The film's female cast includes acclaimed actors such as Nayanthara as Ganga, Kiara Advani as Nadia, Huma Qureshi as Elizabeth, Rukmini Vasanth as Melissa, and Tara Sutaria as Rebecca. This significant ensemble highlights the importance of female characters in the narrative.
Previously scheduled for a March 19 release, 'Toxic' faced several postponements. Following positive reception at CinemaCon, the release date was moved to June 4, and then finally to August 26, 2026. The movie's technical crew includes music composer Ravi Basrur and international action choreographers JJ Perry and the Anbariv duo.
'Toxic' has been filmed simultaneously in Kannada and English, with plans for release in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam. This multilingual approach aims to reach a wider audience across India and beyond.
