Summary
- Toxic's budget exceeds 500 crore, requiring a strong Hindi box office run.
- The Hindi version is projected to open between 17-20 crore on its first day.
- This opening is a significant 62.92% drop from KGF Chapter 2's debut.
Yash is set to make a significant return to the big screen with his upcoming film, 'Toxic.' This magnum opus is reportedly mounted on a substantial budget, with estimates suggesting it has surpassed 500 crore. For 'Toxic' to be a box office success, a strong performance in the Hindi market is considered crucial.
The film's Hindi version is currently projected to earn between 17-20 crore on its opening day. This figure, while substantial, represents a notable decline compared to the 53.95 crore earned by 'KGF Chapter 2' on its opening day, indicating a potential drop of over 60%.
While Yash enjoys widespread popularity, particularly in Hindi-speaking regions, the mixed reception of 'Toxic's' promotional assets, including its trailer and songs, may be impacting its front-loaded box office potential. The Kannada version, however, holds the potential for record-breaking opening day numbers.
