Wynonna Judd announced "The Hard Truth," her first solo studio album in ten years, set for release on October 2nd. The legendary country singer shared on social media that the album's songs are deeply personal, reflecting her experiences with heartbreak, healing, faith, and survival.
Produced by her husband Cactus Moser, the album was five years in the making. Judd stated that the project challenged her to embrace honest emotion and express her truth even when her voice shook. The lead single, "Kentucky Queen," has also been released.
In addition to the album, Judd is embarking on a summer tour with Melissa Etheridge, commencing on June 24th. She has also planned three shows in Kentucky during the fall to celebrate the album's launch, her last solo release being in 2016.
