Wynonna Judd Learned of Grandchild's Birth via TikTok

Wynonna Judd recently learned about the birth of her new grandchild through an unconventional method: TikTok. Her daughter, Grace Kelley, who is currently serving a 15-month sentence for driving with a suspended license, welcomed a second child. Kelley's request for a temporary release to give birth was reportedly denied. As of October 1, 2026, Kelley remains incarcerated.

Judd expressed her emotional turmoil upon receiving the news, crying frequently due to the surprise and the circumstances. She currently has custody of Kelley's four-year-old daughter, Kaliyah, whom she and her husband, Cactus Moser, are raising. Judd also shared her deep concern and heartbreak over not knowing more about her new grandchild, admitting she feels "heartbroken" and is "walking a very interesting walk."

The country singer's latest album, "The Hard Truth," was partly inspired by Kelley's struggles with addiction. Judd detailed her extensive efforts to help her daughter, including spending approximately half a million dollars on various programs. She described the fight against methamphetamine addiction as incredibly difficult and dark, noting that the songs on her album stem from these challenging experiences.
