Japan is set to welcome the world's inaugural permanent outdoor Pokémon theme park, PokéPark KANTO, in early 2026. This massive 26,000-square-meter attraction will be situated within Tokyo's Yomiuriland amusement park, promising an unforgettable experience for fans.
The park is designed with two distinct immersive zones. Pokémon Forest invites visitors on a 500-meter nature trail, dotted with hills, tall grass, and rocky paths where over 600 Pokémon are hidden. Sedge Town will be a vibrant hub featuring themed shops, a Pokémon Centre, and engaging parades and shows inspired by beloved characters.
Anticipating immense popularity, PokéPark KANTO will implement a lottery system for ticket sales beginning in late 2025. Two pass options, the Trainer's Pass and the Ace Trainer's Pass, will offer varying levels of access, including exclusive entry to the Pokémon Forest for Ace Trainer pass holders.
