Poppy, Amy Lee, and Courtney LaPlante have achieved a significant milestone, reaching No. 1 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Airplay chart with their song "End of You" as of the Feb. 21-dated tally. This collaboration marks the first time three women or women-led acts have jointly led the chart in its 45-year history.
Previously, the chart had seen limited success for solo women, with Nita Strauss being the last to lead as a solo act in 2021. "End of You" is a first No. 1 for Poppy and LaPlante, while Lee secures her first solo lead after over 20 years since her initial appearance on the chart. The song is also climbing the Rock & Alternative Airplay and Hot Hard Rock Songs charts.
The track "End of You" was released as a standalone single and has garnered significant airplay and streams. Poppy recently released "Empty Hands," which debuted on the Top Hard Rock Albums chart. All chart updates for Feb. 21 were scheduled for Feb. 18 due to a holiday.
