Marvel Comics Unleashes Four New Wolverines

Marvel Comics is set to introduce four new Wolverine clones in the upcoming 'The Uncanny X-Men No. 38,' a development that could significantly alter the character's narrative. These new adversaries are characterized as 'damaged mutants' and 'cheap but brutal knockoffs,' each equipped with adamantium claws and appearing to have undergone Weapon X-style experimentation.

The original Wolverine will face these four unhinged replicas, raising questions about his ability to overcome such a formidable challenge. This storyline follows a pattern of characters being replaced or having their signature abilities co-opted, as seen earlier this year with Taskmaster wielding Wolverine's claws.

Concurrently, Hugh Jackman's portrayal of Wolverine is slated for a return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While not officially listed for 'Avengers: Doomsday,' reports suggest cameo appearances by Jackman and Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool, potentially leading to a more substantial role in future MCU installments like 'Avengers: Secret Wars' in 2027.
