Further enhancing the celebrations, a Bollywood and Bhangra Memory Cafe is scheduled for July 17th. This event is designed for individuals affected by dementia, offering them an opportunity to engage with Indian music and dance, including Bhangra and golden-era cinema hits.
Key performances include Rangle Sardar, appearing on July 4th as part of their first UK tour, presenting music from the heart of Punjab with four vocalists and a full band. Following this, The Bollywood Bratpack will take the stage, featuring vocalist Chirag Rao, blending iconic Hindi film songs with classic swing. A theatre spokesperson invited everyone to join in celebrating the stories that enrich their stage and community.
