Summary
- Wiz Khalifa explained Kanye's 'Waves' album dispute.
- Kanye West believed Wiz Khalifa was copying his style.
- The conflict arose from an album title referencing Max B.
Wiz Khalifa shared details about a past dispute with Kanye West, formerly known as Ye, which originated from an album title. Khalifa explained that West was preparing to release an album titled 'Waves.' Khalifa publicly stated that no one should use the title 'Waves' because Max B, who was incarcerated at the time, considered it his unique phrase. Khalifa believed West should have acknowledged Max B's influence instead of attempting to rebrand his word.
This stance led to a significant backlash from West, who engaged in a Twitter rant against Khalifa. Khalifa's intention was to ensure Max B received proper recognition for his contribution to the terminology. Max B himself reportedly felt flattered by the attention.
