Furthermore, Macy addressed persistent rumors surrounding Jim Carrey's alleged difficult behavior during film productions. While Macy has not personally worked with Carrey, he acknowledged hearing that Carrey "can be really tough." This echoes past criticisms from other actors, like Martin Freeman, who have labeled such intense immersion in roles as self-aggrandizing and narcissistic, contrasting it with genuine acting craft.
