Summary

- The show is now streaming on Netflix with a different theme.

The popular WB sitcom "What I Like About You," which originally aired from 2002 to 2004, is now available for streaming on Netflix. Viewers may notice a change in the show's iconic theme song.
During its first season, the series used a cover of The Romantics' 1980 song "What I Like About You," performed by the rock group Lillix. This version was featured in the original title sequence.
However, starting with the second season, a remixed techno/dance version of the theme song, composed by Philip Steir, replaced Lillix's rendition. This new theme was used for the remainder of the show's run.
These changes, particularly the removal of Lillix's cover, were primarily due to significant music licensing costs and complexities. Warner Home Video's release of the complete first season on DVD in 2007 marked the first instance of the song being replaced with a generic track produced for the DVD version.
The show initially became available on HBO Max in January 2021 with the modified theme song. This same version is now streaming on Netflix. The entire series, with all four seasons, is currently accessible on the streaming platform, as well as for purchase on iTunes.
