Wesley Snipes: The True Blade of the MCU?

Wesley Snipes' portrayal of Blade remains a fan favorite, prompting calls for his return to the MCU in a new solo film. Despite reports of a canceled reboot starring Mahershala Ali, the enduring legacy of Snipes' Blade, particularly his 1998 film, is credited with jumpstarting Marvel's cinematic universe and paving the way for today's MCU.

The article questions the need for a reboot when Snipes' performance continues to resonate. It draws parallels to other characters, like Channing Tatum's Gambit, who are reportedly returning in upcoming films, suggesting Blade should also receive a new movie installment.

While Blade: Trinity was not as critically acclaimed as its predecessors, the author argues it wasn't the ideal conclusion for the character. The film introduced new characters who could be easily sidelined in a potential Blade 4.

Ultimately, the sentiment is that Blade, and specifically Wesley Snipes' version, deserves a proper send-off. A potential fourth film could see Blade surviving recent cinematic events, offering a more definitive and satisfying ending for the beloved Daywalker.
