Extreme Heat: Wembley Eases Water Bottle Rules for Harry Styles Show

Wembley Stadium has announced a rule modification for Harry Styles's concert scheduled for June 23, 2026, as the UK grapples with an extreme heatwave. The stadium will permit fans to bring metal or hard plastic water bottles to the event, a departure from the usual policy. These bottles can be refilled at complimentary stations throughout the venue. Empty soft-plastic bottles up to 500ml will also be allowed.

Further measures to combat the heat include a 50% price reduction on bottled water sold at all stadium bars and the availability of free sunscreen at information points. Fans are strongly advised to stay hydrated, seek shade, use sun protection, wear breathable clothing, and avoid arriving too early. The Met Office has issued a rare red warning for high temperatures across parts of southern England and southeast Wales, with potential highs of 38 or 39 degrees Celsius in London.
