Akshay Kumar's Film Nears Rs 190 Crore Milestone

Akshay Kumar's latest comedy, 'Welcome To The Jungle,' saw a predictable dip in its box office performance on its third Tuesday. This slowdown followed a stronger weekend, a common trend for weekday collections.

The film has maintained a decent overall run, with its worldwide gross collections now nearing the Rs 190 crore mark. Specifically, on its 19th day, the movie earned Rs 0.25 crore net domestically. This brings the total India net collection to Rs 130.85 crore, with the gross domestic collection at Rs 155.48 crore.

Overseas collections also contributed significantly to the film's success. On Day 19, it earned Rs 0.25 crore gross internationally. This pushed the total overseas gross to Rs 33.10 crore, culminating in a global gross of Rs 188.58 crore.

The narrative centers on Rajeev, portrayed by Akshay Kumar, an actor seeking to revive his career. His new project takes an unexpected turn when a village mistakes his film crew for soldiers, believing they are there to combat a criminal named Zataara, played by Jackie Shroff.
