Wednesday season 3 is currently in full production, and key cast updates have been revealed. Eva Green is set to play Ophelia Frump, Wednesday's aunt, whose cryptic role was hinted at in season 2. Winona Ryder will portray a new character named Tabitha, marking another collaboration with executive producer Tim Burton.
Joanna Lumley, who plays Grandmama Hester Frump, will now be a series regular, given her character's close ties to Ophelia. The core cast, including Jenna Ortega as Wednesday, Catherine Zeta-Jones (Morticia), Luis Guzmán (Gomez), Isaac Ordonez (Pugsley), and Fred Armisen (Uncle Fester), are all returning.
Many Nevermore Academy students and staff will also reprise their roles, such as Emma Myers (Enid Sinclair) and Hunter Doohan (Tyler Galpin). The series, which debuted in 2022, continues its exploration of mysteries and conspiracies with a focus on Wednesday Addams' family history in its upcoming season.
