Warner Bros. Animation and Webtoon Entertainment have announced four new animated titles in development, expanding their ongoing strategic partnership. These projects are based on popular webcomics from the Webtoon platform.
The collaboration, initially announced last fall, aims to co-produce ten fan-favorite webcomics for global distribution. The four newly revealed titles are 'The Wolf & Red Riding Hood,' 'Vampire Family,' 'Sable Curse,' and 'Snow and Briar (And The Mirror of Seven Sins).'
These join previously announced projects like 'Down to Earth' and 'Hardcore Leveling Warrior.' The formats for these co-productions, whether films or series, are yet to be determined, and no release dates have been set. Notably, the original webcomic creators will retain their intellectual property and benefit from the revenue generated by these animations.
