Local students and teachers in Waynesboro will receive support through a special Back To School Supplies Party hosted by Waynesboro native DJ Andrew Hypes and DJ Bonics. The event is scheduled for Friday, August 14, at The Foundry.
Hypes, who is Justin Timberlake's official DJ, connected with Bonics, Wiz Khalifa's DJ, through social media. They are now collaborating to give back to Hypes' hometown community, emphasizing the importance of supporting both students and teachers, as educators frequently use their own funds for classroom supplies.
Attendees can expect a night of music and community spirit, with a focus on collecting necessary school supplies. Hypes and Bonics are seeking donations ranging from tissues to binders. This initiative highlights the positive impact that community events and well-known artists can have on local educational needs.
