Fans seeking a magical fantasy series beyond Westeros have a new destination. All five seasons of the popular British television series "Merlin" are currently available to stream for free on Tubi. The show, which originally aired on the BBC starting in 2008, delves into the early life of the legendary wizard Merlin during his time in Camelot.
Under the guidance of the Great Dragon Kilgharrah, young Merlin is charged with safeguarding Prince Arthur. However, a significant obstacle exists: the kingdom of Camelot strictly prohibits the use of magic, with offenders facing the death penalty. King Uther remains steadfast in his opposition to sorcery, making Merlin's task even more precarious.
Despite the inherent dangers, Merlin repeatedly employs his magical abilities to thwart numerous threats to Camelot. These dangers manifest as warlocks, sorceresses, spirits, goblins, and a variety of formidable beasts. The series has garnered a dedicated following among fantasy enthusiasts who appreciate its blend of magic, adventure, and compelling characters.
