Warner Chappell Elevates A&R Talent Scout

Gabz Landman has ascended to the position of executive vice president of A&R at Warner Chappell Music. Operating from the company's Los Angeles headquarters, she continues her reporting relationship with Ryan Press, President of A&R for North America. Landman's tenure at Warner Chappell, which began in 2022, has been marked by significant successes in talent acquisition and development.

She has been instrumental in signing prominent artists and songwriters, including the two-time Grammy winner Amy Allen, who was also recognized as Variety Hitmakers 2024 songwriter of the year. Landman's expertise has also benefited musicians like Laufey, John Ryan, Madison Beer, and Lizzy McAlpine.

Landman's close work with Amy Allen has resulted in multiple hit songs for artists such as Olivia Rodrigo and Sabrina Carpenter. She facilitated the creation of the globally successful track "So Easy (To Fall in Love)," a collaboration between Allen, Olivia Dean, and John Ryan. Currently, she is actively involved with upcoming projects from Laufey, Diplo, and Madison Beer.

Further underscoring her talent for nurturing artists, Landman's inaugural signing, Cal Shapiro, has become a vital collaborator for Cameron Whitcomb and Alex Warren, contributing to the hit single "Ordinary." Her early signing, Carrie K, recently played a key role in Noah Kahan's album and achieved her first No. 1 on Billboard's Country Airplay chart.
