On November 14, 2025, Grammy-nominated rapper Wale is set to release his eighth studio album, 'Everything Is a Lot,' via Def Jam. The Billboard chart-topping MC's new project promises to tackle the various stresses, life developments, and global pressures he has faced in the four years since his last studio LP, 2021's 'Folarin II.'
Wale has prepped an apt soundtrack for the tumultuous times, with an expansive soundscape courtesy of producers such as BNYX, Salaam Remi, and Kel-P Vibes. The 16-track set, recorded primarily in London and Los Angeles, will feature genre-bending collaborations with a yet-to-be-revealed roster of buzzy names across R&B, hip-hop, and Afrobeats.
Wale's primary goal with 'Everything Is a Lot' was "to express a certain level of vulnerability." The album includes bluesy lead single "Blanco," which he debuted live at Dreamville earlier this year, as well as "Where to Start," which samples SWV's classic 1992 hit "I'm So Into You." Wale's commitment to confronting discomfort on the record is further underscored by tracks like "Fly Away," which samples Maxwell's "Pretty Wings."
