Voltage Pictures has announced that it has taken the international rights to the romantic comedy 'So Much for Love'. The film, which is currently in post-production, is directed by Lina Roessler and stars Finn Wittrock, Sylvia Hoeks, and Esai Morales.
The story follows Sam Davies (Wittrock), a Hollywood trust-fund kid who is cut off from his fortune and ends up in small-town Kentucky. There, he meets Lindsey (Hoeks), a beautiful and independent waitress, whose influence changes his life in unexpected ways. The film is based on an original story by Paul Robarts and Gigi Gaston.
'So Much for Love' is being produced by Cassian Elwes' Elevated Films, along with Robarts, Arielle Elwes, and Veronica Radaelli. Gigi Gaston and Tom Culliver are serving as executive producers.
Voltage Pictures' President of Global Sales and Distribution, Alexandra Cocean, has expressed excitement about the film, stating that it is a "wonderful, heartfelt romance" with "beautifully grounded performances" and Roessler's ability to capture both humor and humanity. Producer Arielle Elwes also shared her enthusiasm about teaming up with Voltage to bring the film to the global marketplace.
