Mexico City's 26th Vive Latino festival commenced on Saturday, March 14, 2026, drawing an impressive 80,000 attendees to the Estadio GNP Seguros. The event celebrated a wide array of musical talent, with rock icons Lenny Kravitz and John Fogerty delivering standout performances. Kravitz offered a memorable show, while Fogerty connected with fans across generations.
The festival also featured global stars like Juanes and the Mexican band Maldita Vecindad. For the first time in its history, Vive Latino included salsa music, with El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico energizing the crowd. Hip-hop was represented by Cypress Hill, who collaborated with Mexican rapper Alemán on stage.
Attendees on Sunday, March 15, 2026, were set to witness the reunions of Fobia and Illya Kuryaki and The Valderramas, alongside performances by The Smashing Pumpkins and Steve Aoki. This year, Amazon Music partnered to offer free live streaming of the concerts.
Various international artists from different genres also performed on the festival's opening day, including Moenia, Los Amigos Invisibles, Cuco, Trueno, White Lies, Chetes, Nacho Vegas, Love of Lesbian, Carlos Sadness, Los Viejos, Alcalá Norte, and Margaritas Podridas.
