Director Ravi Arasu Dismisses Rumors of Vishal Taking Over 'Magudam' Film

On October 12th, 2025, rumors began circulating on social media that actor Vishal had taken over the direction of his 35th film 'Magudam' from director Ravi Arasu due to creative differences. A video of Vishal giving directions to the crew also went viral.

When contacted, director Ravi Arasu firmly dismissed the rumors, calling them "fake news." He clarified that he is still directing the film and the fifth schedule will begin after Diwali. Ravi Arasu also shared a photo on his social media of him praying for the film's success at the Tiruchendur Murugan Temple.

Vishal, the lead actor of 'Magudam,' also commented on the situation. He stated that the movie is in the final phase of shooting and coming out well. Vishal emphasized that his focus is on the film's output and he does not want to comment on the rumors at this point. He assured that he never lets his producer down and will deliver a good film to the audience.

'Magudam' also stars Dushara Vijayan, Anjali, and Yogi Babu in key roles. The film's production is progressing as planned under director Ravi Arasu's leadership.
