Singer and composer Vishal Dadlani recently shared a strong message on social media directed at aspiring singers. He adamantly advised new artists against leveraging "influential contacts" or seeking favors from ministers to approach him. Dadlani made it clear that such attempts are a sure way to be blocked and have no chance of collaboration.

In a direct post, he stated, "I have zero respect for people who try to make their way forward through 'contacts.'" He revealed that he had blocked a singer who attempted this method, along with the contact person involved. Dadlani stressed that success should come from faith in one's talent and hard work, not from shortcuts.

He further explained that resorting to "sifaarish" (recommendation) indicates a lack of belief in one's own abilities. Dadlani reassured listeners that talent and patience will eventually lead to opportunities. He also hinted at an upcoming platform designed to discover new artists on a weekly basis, encouraging genuine talent.

This stance by Dadlani, known for his candid opinions, follows other recent reflections on success. Earlier, after Arijit Singh's temporary retirement from playback singing, Dadlani had posted about how success and wealth do not guarantee peace or contentment.
