Virginal Teacher Tackles Sex Ed in Quirky Village Comedy

Netflix has announced the upcoming premiere of its Telugu original series 'Super Subbu' in 2026. The show, set in a quirky village, follows the story of a hapless young teacher who unexpectedly lands a job teaching sex education, despite being a virgin himself. Directed by Mallik Ram and produced by Rajiv Chilaka under Chilaka Productions, 'Super Subbu' brings together comedy, emotion, and social commentary in a unique rural setting.

The series stars Sandeep Kishan, Mithila Palkar, and Murali Sharma, and promises a journey filled with awkward moments, heartwarming encounters, and self-discovery. Director Mallik Ram explains that the idea behind the show was to address the taboo surrounding sex education through humor, using a familiar village setting to explore how innocence meets awareness.
