ViQueens tells the story of two brave Viking girls, Ingrid and Hedvig, who defy tradition to return a stowaway boy to China. Their epic adventure spans from Norway's icy fjords to the legendary Silk Road, blending Viking courage with ancient Chinese wisdom.
The movie features a notable international voice cast, with Ella Purnell lending her voice to Ingrid and Rita Ora to Hedvig. The production is led by producer Veslemøy Ruud Zwart, and the score is composed by Christophe Beck.
Director Harald Zwart expressed excitement for the U.S. audience's first glimpse of the film, emphasizing its themes of adventure, humor, cultural connection, and curiosity. Ketchup Entertainment CEO Gareth West highlighted the film's infectious energy, comparing it to Norway's spirit during the World Cup and calling it an ambitious, original animated story.

ViQueens is scheduled for release in its home territory of Norway on December 25.
