Summary

- Three east coast headline dates are scheduled for September.
- The band cited a desire to make noise together after 20 years.

After a four-year hiatus, Brisbane's own Violent Soho has confirmed their return to the live stage. The band announced three headline shows set to take place across the east coast this September. Their comeback tour begins at Sydney's Enmore Theatre on September 11th, followed by a Melbourne performance at the Forum on September 18th, and concluding in their hometown at Fortitude Music Hall on September 25th.
Supporting acts Beddy Rays and Teenage Joans will join the tour. Violent Soho shared a straightforward message about their return: "Some dudes play golf, we play in a band. For us, that band is Violent Soho and we missed making noise together." The band, formed in 2004, achieved significant success with multiple number-one albums and ARIA awards, solidifying their place as a defining Australian guitar band before stepping back from touring in 2022.
This highly anticipated return coincides with the recent 10th-anniversary vinyl release of their landmark fourth album, 'WACO', which has generated renewed attention. Violent Soho's enduring appeal is marked by hits like 'Covered in Chrome', a staple for a generation of music fans.
