Pooja Hegde Slams Jana Nayagan Leak, Urges Respect

Pooja Hegde has vehemently condemned the online leak of Jana Nayagan, the final film starring Vijay. She shared her disappointment via Instagram, highlighting the significant dedication and effort invested by the entire team. Hegde stressed that piracy undermines the respect due to every artist and technician involved in the project.

She appealed to the audience to await the official release and support the film through legitimate channels, particularly as it marks Vijay's last cinematic outing. Experiencing the film on the big screen was emphasized as the appropriate way to celebrate. This sentiment was echoed by several South Indian film personalities.

Filmmakers AR Murugadoss, Raghava Lawrence, and Pa Ranjith, alongside actor Karthi, have all strongly denounced the unauthorized circulation of Jana Nayagan. They pointed out that film leaks represent shattered dreams and jeopardized livelihoods. Veteran actors Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan have also condemned the leak, with calls for strict action and a link to certification delays being made.

The production house, KVN Productions, has initiated a legal inquiry into the matter, reminding the public that piracy constitutes a criminal offense under copyright laws.
