The narrative of 'Ranabaali' unfolds in 1870s South India, a period marked by the Great Famine of 1876-78. The film stars Vijay Deverakonda as a warrior who challenges a British commissioner, alongside Rashmika Mandanna as his wife and rebellion partner. Hollywood actor Arnold Vosloo plays the primary antagonist.

Originally slated for a September 11 release, 'Ranabaali' was postponed. Its October 16 debut will see it premiere a day after Rajinikanth's 'Jailer 2.' Deverakonda emphasized his personal determination to overcome setbacks, stating that confidence and dedication are key to success.
