Additional cast members have been revealed for the Off-Broadway revival of Arthur Miller's "A View from the Bridge." Carla Gugino, Fred Hechinger, Tom Pecinka, and Riley Prior will join previously announced stars Sam Rockwell and Alfred Molina.
This limited 13-week engagement is scheduled to commence on November 27, with its official opening night set for December 13. The production will take place at the historic Ellen Stewart Theatre at La MaMa.
Gugino is cast as Beatrice, Hechinger as Rodolpho, Pecinka as Marco, and Prior as Catherine. Alfred Molina will portray Alfieri. Neil Pepe directs the production.
Arthur Miller's searing tragedy explores Eddie Carbone's unraveling world when his wife's cousins arrive from Italy. As Catherine falls for Rodolpho, Eddie's protectiveness turns to jealousy, leading to betrayal.
Set in 1950s Brooklyn's immigrant neighborhoods, the play delves into themes of devotion, desire, justice, loyalty, and the American Dream. This marks the play's first Off-Broadway run since 1965.
