Summary
- New folk horror film incorporates Vietnamese belief in hidden house spells.
- Plot follows young man uncovering rituals after father's mysterious death.
- Filmmakers previously had major box office success with horror titles.

Skyline Media has secured worldwide sales rights for the upcoming folk horror film, "The 10th House." This project is the latest from director-producer duo Tran Huu Tan and Hoang Quan.
The film draws inspiration from a less-explored Vietnamese folk belief. This tradition suggests that house builders embed hidden spells within the very structure of buildings.
The narrative centers on a young man who begins documenting eerie occurrences in his home following his father's unexplained demise. His investigation unearths a forbidden ritual.
This ritual is intrinsically linked to the property and appears to be connected to a growing series of violent supernatural events. The deal comes after significant commercial success for both companies involved.
Previous hits include "Vietnamese Horror Story," which dominated the Vietnamese box office in 2022 and sold to over 45 territories. "The Soul Reaper" followed in 2023, becoming the biggest Vietnamese horror release to date and acquired by Netflix for Southeast Asia.
"The Sisters" also achieved international recognition, selling to more than 12 territories and standing as the top-earning Vietnamese period horror film on record. "The 10th House" enters a market eager for Asian found footage horror.
