Jammwal’s lifelong dedication to martial arts, specifically Kalaripayattu since childhood, felt instrumental in preparing him for his role. He expressed a sense of destiny in portraying the character, Dhalsim, in "Street Fighter." The film, directed by Kitao Sakurai, is based on the popular video game and also features Noah Centineo and Jason Momoa.
